Odessa hosts conference on “Yesterday, today and future of Azerbaijan”
Baku, October 28 (AZERTAC). A conference entitled “Yesterday, today and future of Azerbaijan” has been held in Odessa.
Opening the conference, chairman of the Ukrainian Azerbaijani Youth Union`s Odessa branch Samira Aliyeva informed the attendees on the 3-year activity of the branch. Noting the recent opening of Azerbaijani Youth Center in Odessa, Aliyeva said the Center, equipped with modern technologies and computers, realizes events featuring ancient tradition, rich culture and national values of Azerbaijani people.
Addressing the event, chairman of the Ukrainian Azerbaijani Youth Union Anar Tahirov said despite their residence, every Azerbaijani youth should make certain contribution to provide bright future of Azerbaijan. He noted under President Ilham Aliyev`s leadership, Azerbaijan became one of the leading countries in the world.
Other speakers at the event, including representative of the Ukrainian Office of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Hazi Aslanov, representatives of the Union`s Ukrainian branch Laman Mammadova, Bulud Tanriverdiyev, Sevinj Azimova, Malahat Eyyubova, Rafiq Hamidov, Salatin Khojaliyeva hailed the Azerbaijan-Ukraine relations in the economic, political, scientific and cultural fields.
