OIC FOREIGN MINISTERS’ SESSION ENDS IN ISLAMABAD
Session of the foreign ministers of Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) member countries ended in Islamabad, 17 May.
On the last day of session, after discussion of peace and harmony in the present world, three resolutions connected with Azerbaijan were adopted. These resolutions are connected with the aggression of Armenia, condemning destruction at the occupied Azerbaijani territory of the historical, cultural monuments and damage it caused to economic sphere. The Resolutions give political assessment to the Khojali tragedy, committed in 1992 by the Armenian armed forces, while the massacre of the peaceful people was estimated as genocide.
The Islamabad Declaration, adopted after the meetings, reflects the situation condemning occupation of the Azerbaijani lands by Armenia. Armenia is demanded to unconditionally liberate the occupied Azerbaijani territories.
