OIC representative: Garabagh can become one of Azerbaijan’s main tourism destinations

“The trip to Garabagh has left a deep impression, demonstrating the region's great potential in terms of both urbanization and tourism,” Mafaz Khurram, representative of the Labour Centre of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, said in an interview with AZERTAC.
According to him, this is his first time visiting Garabagh: “I’m from Pakistan. It is a great honor for me to be here in our brotherly country, Azerbaijan, and to be part of the diplomatic community. This trip has been a very valuable and important experience for me.”
Khurram noted that Garabagh is distinguished by its natural beauty and, if used properly, can become one of Azerbaijan’s main tourism destinations. He also emphasized that the restoration and development processes carried out in the region are a clear example of modern urbanization: “Garabagh shows how important sustainable urban development and proper planning are. This region can become one of the main reasons for visiting Azerbaijan.”
