ONE MILLION CHILDREN IN FRANCE LIVE BELOW POVERTY LEVEL
In the country, where level of life gradually drops, monthly income of the family with one baby makes up € 1170. This sum is too paltry against a background of high rent, excessive high cost of foodstuffs.
According to the survey, for today, one million children live below poverty level in France. In 900 thousand families, one of the parents receives small allowances from the state. 20 thousand children have no permanent residence. Some families live due to the donation of the church.
In comparison with their well-to-do coevals, children living below poverty level and having no social maintenance finish school later or used to leave it. Majority of them have no opportunity to get higher education and search work.
