Pakistan: 41 terrorists killed in two separate operations in Balochistan

Pakistan’s security forces killed 41 militants during two intelligence-based operations conducted in Balochistan province on January 29, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement on Friday.
According to ISPR, the first operation was carried out on the outskirts of Harnai district following reports of militant presence. During an exchange of fire, 30 militants were killed. A large cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives was recovered and destroyed at the site.
In a separate intelligence-based operation in Panjgur district, security forces raided a militant hideout and killed 11 militants. Weapons and ammunition were seized during the operation. Authorities also reported recovering money allegedly looted during a bank robbery in Panjgur on December 15, 2025. The statement said the militants had been involved in previous attacks.
Security forces are continuing clearance operations in the area to eliminate any remaining militants.
ISPR stated that counterterrorism operations under the “Azm-e-Istehkam” campaign, approved by the Federal Apex Committee under the National Action Plan, will continue in an effort to curb militancy in the country.
