Pakistan and Azerbaijan agree to promote trade partnership

The Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Pakistan Khazar Farhadov has expressed his determination to promote cooperation with Pakistan. He expressed these views while talking to Pakistan’s Federal Minister For Privatization and Communications Abdul Aleem Khan in Islamabad.
Both the dignitaries agreed on promoting trade partnership between Pakistan and the Republic of Azerbaijan. Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Privatization and Communications recalled his recent visit to Azerbaijan as very positive and promising where he attended the COP29.
Abdul Aleem Khan offered Azerbaijani companies to invest in Pakistan. During the meeting, the Azeri Ambassador and the Pakistani Minister discussed proposed investment in Karachi-Sukkur and Sukkur-Hyderabad M6 and M9 Motorways.
The Federal Minister for Privatization and Communications said that Pakistan aspires to promote bilateral cooperation with Azerbaijan in various sectors including tourism. He said we need to convert our mutual relations into business and bilateral trade.
During the meeting, the Federal Minister lauded Pakistan’s strong representation at COP29 and maintained that the Republic of Azerbaijan had showcased the country's potential on a global platform in Baku.
