PALMALI GROUP OF COMPANIES TO CONSTRUCT SHIPYARD IN TURKEY
Palmali Group of Companies will construct the shipyard in Turkey, the Company said.
“Palmali” GC purchased 20 hectares of area in Yalova region of Turkey to construct the shipbuilding yard. The Company will invest US $60 mln in the project. Construction of tankers and dry cargo vessels meeting the international standards will begin next year. The first vessel in this shipyard will be chemical tankers with DWT 15-20 kilotons.
“Palmali” GC is specializing in goods transportation through Mediterranean, Caspian and Black Sea regions. It has over 120 ships in its fleet.
