Chair of the Commission Zahid Garalov noted the issues on the agenda had been discussed in the Milli Majlis commissions including that on Legal Policy and State Building Affairs, and that they had been submitted for discussion from the Administration of President of the Azerbaijan Republic. He emphasized as well that considerable changes are to be made into the Law “On Status of Servicemen” passed in 1992. The amendment, in particular, implies providing accommodation to all categories of ex-servicemen - the law will be supplemented with the words “accommodation or land”.
The commission members – deputies and heads of municipalities attended the sitting - have supported the amendments into the law, and unanimously decided to approve the draft laws and submitted them for discussion to the Milli Majlis.
