Pasha Sigorta attends Istanbul international insurance conference
Baku, June 7 (AZERTAC). A delegation of the Pasha Sigorta insurance company participated in the International Conference in the Turkish city of Istanbul.
The conference supported by the Association of Insurance and Reinsurance Companies of Turkey was organized by of Insurance Professional Association of Turkey and Istanbul Underwriting Center.
The conference featured discussions on insurance products and tariffs, competition strategy in markets by insurers etc.
Regional Manager of Munich Re Company Yurgen Brouker and Director General of Zurich Turkey Lutz Bauer made reporters in the conference. The reports focused on preparation of insurance products and entering into markets of the region.
“70% of the Turkish insurance industry by capital and 65% by insurance premiums belong today to the world`s leading insurance companies. The Turkish market is interesting to us by both modern insurance technologies and reinsurance capacities. We are keen to research and localize the latest products and technologies from Turkey to the needs of the Azerbaijani insurance market and explore reinsurance capacities of the Istanbul market to our needs,” chairman of Pasha Sigorta`s Management Board Nofal Rzayev said.
Pasha Sigorta`s delegation held meetings with technical directors and portfolio managers of leading Turkish insurance companies within the framework of the visit.
