Pavilion areas at Milan Expo 2015 presented to participant countries
Baku, December 17 (AZERTAC). The steering committee of the Milan Expo 2015 international exhibition started the process of commissioning pavilion areas to countries in Milano.
At the ceremony held with participation of head commissioner of the Italian government for Milan Expo 2015, 26 pavilion areas were commissioned to the representatives of the same countries.
Azerbaijan will be represented with a special pavilion that will feature the historical and cultural heritage, rich ecological and energy potential and unique biodiversity of the country.
The organizing partner of Azerbaijan’s participation in this exhibition-the Heydar Aliyev Centre has ended all preparations required until now.
Azerbaijan was among the first 26 of 140 participant countries that was presented the pavilion areas for the exhibition on December 16.
According to a representative of the Steering Committee Azerbaijan was among the countries that fulfilled all initial requirements, and prepared presentations related to the content and organization of the pavilion faster than all others.
It has to be noted that the historical, geographical and cultural features of Azerbaijan will also be presented to visitors through special projections.
The Milan Expo 2015 will be organized on 1 May until 31 October of 2015 at an area of 1.7m sq meters. The main objective of this exhibition planned to be held with participation of up to 30 million guests from different countries is to draw attention to healthy lifestyle and environment, safe and healthy food.
