Turkish petrochemicals company Petkim has said its net profit increased by 27 per cent to 226.9 million Turkish Liras compared to the same period of 2015.

Petkim is the only producer in Turkey` petrochemical industry.

SOCAR Turkey Enerji A.Ş. (STEAŞ) owns nearly 58 percent stake in Petkim. The complex includes 14 plants which produce 20 types of products. Production capacity of Petkim is 3.6 million tons per year.
