As provided by AzerTAj, chairperson of the Central Election Commission of Kazakhstan (CEC) Ragina Bameeva at the press conference taken place on September 19 in Astana, organized in connection with results of elections to Parliamentary Assembly, has stated that 56 percent of the citizens to vote have taken part in elections, in 40 districts deputies have been elected, in 22 one-mandatory districts repeated elections will be conducted. At her words, the ruling part Otan is in the lead at the elections, the party "Аsar" is the second, and on the third – is the party "Akzhal".

At the press conference, also was present chairman of the Central Election Commission of Azerbaijan Mr. Mazahir Panahov. In conversation with correspondent of AzerTAj he has told: “Azerbaijan was represented by a big delegation for supervision over parliamentary elections in Kazakhstan. Our observers supervised course of elections in the cities of Astana, Almaty and Aktau. In Kazakhstan, the system of electronic voting for the first time has been applied. Elections have passed in conditions of transparency and democracy”.
