PRESIDENT CONGRATULATES AZERBAIJANI PEOPLE ON NOVRUZ BAYRAM
Dear countrymen,
I cordially congratulate you on the Novruz Bayram and wish all of you health, happiness and success in life.
Novruz Bayram, our national holiday, connected with the eternal laws of nature and unchangeable order of the universe, comes to our country on the very first day of spring which heralds equity of the day and night. The Holiday of Spring is a valuable heritage from our ancestors through the ancient times in the Land of Fires, and is welcomed with special ceremonies and mass festivities. The holiday manifests our national consciousness and the spiritual insight of our fathers. Its nice customs and traditions have passed though tests of centuries and are nowadays beloved, esteemed and deservedly preserved. Celebration of it with great spiritual up-rise and on state level is the result of out state independence. The Novruz Bayram is truly a national holiday.
The socio-economic accomplishments, Azerbaijan has achieved last years, bring a spirit of holiday to every family. Revival of our cultural-social life, intensive dynamics of economy, large-scale construction works all over the country and renewal of nature makes harmony in our hearts and arouses hope and trust for future.
In this nice day, I extend my holiday greetings to our soldiers who courageously protect our borders. I revere memories of those who fell for territorial integrity of our Motherland and I pray that their soul rest in peace.
Our compatriots and country fellows living over the world joyfully welcome this national holiday. The Novruz Bayram becomes symbol of solidarity of the world Azerbaijanis and strengthens the idea of consolidation and Azerbaijanism.
On this dear holiday, I wish all of you good mood and festive spirit.
