PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV MEETS WITH PRIME MINISTER OF TURKEY RECEP TAYYIP ERDOGAN
On June 25, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met at Chiragan Palace in Istanbul with Prime Minister of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
During the conversation, the friendly and brotherly relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey were characterized as successfully developing in political, economic and other fields.
The Azerbaijani leader and the Turkish Premier stressed the contribution of the global projects such as Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil and Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum gas pipelines, as well as Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railroad to ensuring peace and security in the region, and the well-being of the two peoples.
They also mentioned the two counties’ successful cooperation in the framework of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation.
