PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV RECEIVES DIRECTOR OF LIBRARY OF ALEXANDRIA
Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev received Director of Library of Alexandria, the Egyptian President`s advisor on science and education Ismail Serageldin at the Presidential Palace on Tuesday.
Ismail Serageldin said he is pleased to be in Baku, and stressed it is a great honor for him to be received by President Ilham Aliyev.
He said Library of Alexandria is ready to contribute to developing relations between Egypt and Azerbaijan in the fields of science and education.
President Ilham Aliyev stressed the importance of cooperation between Azerbaijani libraries and Library of Alexandria which he said is making contribution to developing science in the world.
The Azerbaijani leader expressed confidence that the cooperation of the two countries` libraries will serve enhancement of bilateral humanitarian relations between Azerbaijan and Egypt.
