PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV RECEIVES INTERIOR MINISTER OF AFGHANISTAN
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met June 7 with the delegation of Afghanistan led by Interior Minister of this country Zarar Ahmad Mugbil. The Head of State said Azerbaijan-Afghanistan relations are developing very well. President Ilham Aliyev recalled Afghan Leader’s visit to Azerbaijan, adding that they also had fruitful meetings at the international events.
According Ilham Aliyev, Mugbil’s visit provides a forum for discussing bilateral relations, in particular, in the field of security. He expressed his confidence that the visit will give a fillip to bilateral relations.
Interior Minister offered Afghanistan President’s best regards to Mr. Ilham Aliyev. He also expressed gratitude to the official Baku for its contribution to the peace and stability in Afghanistan by sending its peacekeeping forces to Afghanistan.
The Head of State asked Zarar Mugbil to convey his greetings to the Afghan counterpart.
