PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV RECEIVES ISESCO DIRECTOR GENERAL
On April 26, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri, Director General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO). Dr. Altwaijri informed President Aliyev on the activities of his organization over the past few months, noting ISESCO attaches 
special importance to development of relations with Azerbaijan.

President Ilham Aliyev highly assessed ISESCO-Azerbaijan cooperation noting that the organization’s activities are of particular importance for the Islamic world.
The Azerbaijani leader praised Dr. Altwaijri’s efforts towards achieving, in a short period of time, the enhancement of ISESCO’s role in the world, and presented him with “Shohrat” (Glory) Order, Azerbaijan’s high state award.
