PRESIDENT OF AZERBAIJAN ILHAM ALIYEV TOURING BAKU
Residents of the ancient and beautiful Baku greeted and cheered the Head of State, expressing their honor, respect and wishes.
President Ilham Aliyev came to the Baku Mayoral where interested in the future appearance of Baku and general plan of the capital.
Mayor of Baku Hajibala Abutalibov thanked the President of Azerbaijan for rendering attentions and care to their activity, spoke of the past and present town building. The Mayor reminded that the general plan of Baku was prepared still in the 70s of the last century under the leadership of the founder of Azerbaijani state, the national leader of Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev. The late President especially was interested in the appearance of the capital city of Azerbaijan, he said.
President Ilham Aliyev said that town building is a serious and significant work, gave relevant assignments and instructions on building houses that met the national architecture and principles of modern town building.
President Ilham Aliyev especially emphasized that he would continue Heydar AliyevВ’s plans in this field, too. As known, President Heydar Aliyev always remained engaged in town building and architecture.
Touring the city, President Ilham Aliyev talked to the residents of the capital, listened them, interested in their everyday concerns.
