PRESIDENT RECEIVES NOBEL CHARITY FUND’S DELEGATION
President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan today at President Palace received the delegation headed by Dr. Michael Nobel, Chairman of the Nobel Charitable Trust Foundation. Visit of a large delegation led by Mr. Michael Nobel to Azerbaijan shows close relations between the country and the Nobel Charitable Trust Foundation, President Aliyev noted. Reminding his first visit with Michael Nobel, President of Azerbaijan said at that meeting the passed history and fuehrer cooperation were discussed. Memory of the Nobel family is respectful in the country and today, the Head of State underlined, expressing confidence for success of the current visit of the Nobel Charitable Trust Foundation.
Dr. Michael Nobel with great pleasure recalled his pervious meetings with the President of Azerbaijan and expressed gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for support of reconstruction works in the historical residence of the Nobel brothers in Baku - the Villa Petrolea. He expressed hope that opening of the Villa Petrolea would much more strengthen the positive relations between Sweden and Azerbaijan.
