Presidential election begins in Goychay, Agdash, Mingachevir and Gabala
Goychay, October 9 (AZERTAC). Polling stations have opened in Goychay, Agdash, Mingachevir and Gabala districts at 8.00 on Wednesday as Azerbaijani citizens begin voting in the presidential election.
Residents of four districts will vote in 199 polling stations in five constituencies. The number of eligible voters in four districts is 196,826.
All measures have been taken to ensure free, democratic and transparent conduct of the election. Web cameras are installed in 49 polling stations. The voting will be monitored by 1,559 local observers, as well as international experts from OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights and CIS Interparliamentary Assembly.
