PRIME MINISTER OF KAZAKHSTAN RESIGNS
On January 8, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has accepted resignation of the Prime Minister of country Danial Ahmedov, press service of the government of Kazakhstan said. He has submitted his application for resignation on Monday. According to the legislation of Kazakhstan, in case of resignation of the Prime Minister, the government in full staff also resigns.
53-year Danial Ahmedov has been nominated to the post of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan in June 2003. In January of the last year, Nursultan Nazarbayev after repeated election as the head of the state again has presented to the Parliament nominee of Ahmedov on the post of the Premier. No information on the reasons of resignation.
Now, Nazarbayev should submit the nominee of new head of the government for approval at the joint session of chambers of parliament forthcoming on January 10.
