PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION SYSTEM OF UZBEKISTAN TO BE REFORMED
A new system of public administration is being set up in Uzbekistan. It will result in laying off of over 40 thousand people, AzerTAj correspondent learnt from the press-service of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The reduction of the staff will release over 40 billion soums, which will be directed to the development of the socio-economic sphere and optimize the work of administration workers.
After the reforms, the number of public workers will be 1,6 percent of the population. It is much less than that in other CIS countries.
