RELATIONS OF AZERBAIJANI AND IRANIAN ENERGY ENGINEERS STRENGTHENING
This statement was made by the department head for systemic development of Azerbaijani (Iran) regional energy company, Abdulhamid Farzam, leading the delegation of Iranian energy engineers at the negotiations in Baku, press-service of Azerenergy reports.
According to Farzam, widening and deepening of cooperation in energy means strengthening and good neighboring, friendly relations between Iran and Azerbaijan.
The delegation of Iran consisted of department head for planning of the central office of the Iranian company, Vahid Gohari and deputy manager of energy company Gilani, Naser Gazanfari.
During a three-day constructive discussion, a number of technical and organizational issues of mutual interest, including realization of program and exploitation regime of trans-Azerbaijani electric transmission lines Astara-Astara and inter-systemic lines Imishli-Parsabad were discussed.
A protocol was signed according to results of negotiations that are to be continued this week in the Islamic Republic of Iran. The Azerbaijani delegation will be headed by senior engineer of Azerenergy, Marlen Askerov.
