New supplements will be introduced in the Law “On Status of Serviceman”, AzerTAj reporter has learned form the Milli Majlis. The draft law submitted to the Parliament at the initiative of President of Azerbaijan implies supplements to 12 Articles of the mentioned Law. In particular, militaries who had served the Armed Forces of the Azerbaijan Republic for 15 and more years, and lived in service apartments or had no living space /excluding those on active duty for a fixed period/, as well as those transferred to the reserve or discharged, will be granted within 6 months a right to get free accommodations from Executive powers or lands from Municipalities to build private houses.

The militaries, who have become disabled in the course of military service will be granted accommodations or lands out of turn.

The draft law has been submitted to the Parliament for discussion.
