A roundtable meeting “Role of Writers in Strengthening of Azerbaijani Diaspora” has been held on the initiative of “Yeni yazarlar and sanatchilar” body in the International Press Center.

AzerTaj correspondent was informed in the Center that Vice President of Azerbaijani center of national-cultural autonomy functioning in Novosibirsk Mirkasim Seidov, Head of the Administration of the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan Chingiz Alioglu, MP Sayad Aran, Chief of the department of Writers Union Adalat Asgaroglu, Chairaman of “Yeni yazarlar and sanatchilar” body Aydin Abilov and others spoke in the roundtable of strengthening the process of integration of various peoples and cultures in the globalizing world, on acceleration of approach in the intergovernmental relations.

It was noted that in current hard conditions there is a great demand in uniting Azerbaijanis living abroad among the idea of national and spiritual values, in their formation.

Ways of effective usage of the possibilities of creative figures and new writers in this issue were considered at the roundtable.

Then Vice President of Azerbaijani center of national-cultural autonomy Mirkasim Seidov was awarded International Certificate of Culture of “Yeni yazarlar and sanatchilar” body “Intellect”, while group of activists were awarded with Diplomas.
