Round table on ` What is sustainable development?`
Baku, April 15 (AZERTAC). A round table entitled ` What is sustainable development?` co-organized by the Graduate Institute and Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation will be held in Baku.
UN Resident Coordinator/UNDP Resident Representative to Azerbaijan Antonius Broek, Deputy Regional Director of the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) Mathias Feldman and collaborator of economic analysis and globalization issues department of the Center for Strategic Studies of Azerbaijan Mahir Humbatov will make speeches in the round table to be held as a part of the CABIR Regional Programme (increasing the role of human capital in international relations) for the Civil servants of Azerbaijan. This course is designed to give the participants the global understanding, the analytical tools and the negotiation skills needed for effective decision-making in trade related context for the public sectors of Azerbaijan.
The round table will feature discussions on importance of sustainable development, the role of sustainable development and human capital in the international relations and management of natural resources.
