RUSSIAN BUSINESSMEN TO COME TO AZERBAIJAN
The press conference dealt with the first economic forum of Azerbaijani and Russian businessmen to be held in Baku April 6-7.
The Russian businessmen thoroughly study the economic potential of Azerbaijan, business environment, and investment possibilities. Azerbaijani entrepreneurs are also among them. After adoption of the “State program on social-economic development of provinces of the Azerbaijan Republic”, the businessmen and certain companies became more interested in Azerbaijan. Taking all this into consideration, it was decided to conduct a business forum exactly in Azerbaijan. This idea was supported by co-chairs of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation - first deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Abbas Abbasov and Minister of Industry and Energy of the Russian Federation Victor Khristenko. At the Forum, Minister of Economic Development Farhad Aliyev will update the audience on the investment environment in Azerbaijan.
Intigam Huseynov and Natig Agamirovv responded to journalists’ questions on Russian companies and businessmen, which are going to participate at the forum.
