SAM to attend CIS oil-gas annual summit

Baku, May 23 (AZERTAC). On May 25-27, the annual (XI) oil-gas summit of the CIS countries will take place in Paris, the Strategic Research Center (SAM) under the President of Azerbaijan Republic said. The Summit is being supported by “The Energy Exchange” and “Total” companies and will bring together representatives from Azerbaijan, Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and other countries.

Gulmira Rzayeva, SAM contributor will represent the Center at the Summit.

The Summit is to discuss important questions related to huge oil-gas deposits, including Shahdeniz project, AGRI gas main project, formation of new strategic alliances in region, future oil-gas prospects, long-term transportation of natural oil and gas, diversification of export routes, oil-gas policy of the Caspian countries and other issues.
