Samil Ayrim: Historical justice must be restored in Western Azerbaijan

“We are confident that the historical justice will soon be restored in Western Azerbaijan. Our brothers must have the right to return to their historical lands with dignity and safety. I believe that day will come,” Samil Ayrim, member of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye and Chairman of the Türkiye-Azerbaijan Parliamentary Friendship Group, said in his interview with AZERTAC.
“As with every visit to Azerbaijan, we have an opportunity to witness the new achievements of the brotherly country, as well as the restoration of the liberated territories,” he underlined.
Samil Ayrim noted that Türkiye sincerely rejoices at all the successes of Azerbaijan.
Highlighting the successful outcomes of COP29, the Chairman of the Friendship Group mentioned that the climate summit held in Azerbaijan has fulfilled the targets set at its launch. “The statements made by President Ilham Aliyev during COP29 are of particular importance for the implementation of the global environmental agenda,” Samil Ayrim emphasized.
He also commended the fact that the Azerbaijani leadership attaches special importance to its relations with the Turkic countries, including the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).
