SEMINAR ON THE THEME “SOCIAL DIALOGUE AND EMPLOYMENT IN AZERBAIJAN” HELD
As was informed by correspondent of AzerTAj, in the seminar, devoted to the topic “Social dialogue and employment in Azerbaijan”, representatives of the ILO regional bureau on the Eastern Europe and Central Asia, the World Bank, as well as governmental structures of Azerbaijan and organizations of trade unions and employers took part.
The minister of labor and social security of population Ali Nagiyev, the president of Confederation Alakbar Mammadov, responsible of ILO regional bureau on the Eastern Europe and Central Asia Ms. Martina Lubyeva, the responsible of the World Bank Ms Alexandra Posarak in their remarks spoke of the purposes of seminar. They have noted that the purpose of seminar is carrying out discussions on such questions, as experience of the countries of the European Union in development of social dialogue, its role in economy and production processes, state, prospects of social dialogue in Azerbaijan.
Discussed were reports of the ILO representative on carrying out of social dialogue with the Council of Europe member-countries at national level Lyudek Richli, “Social dialogue, as means for the reforms which are carried out on labor market”, of Ms. Martina Lubyeva “Strategy of employment in Azerbaijan”, of the expert of the Geneva office pf ILO Georgy Sirazkin “Plan of activity for national strategy of employment” and others.
On April 2, the seminar will continue.
