Serbian media widely covers Azerbaijan`s sending humanitarian aid to the country
Belgrade, May 20 (AZERTAC). Serbian news agencies and TV channels have highlighted the country`s receiving humanitarian aid from Azerbaijan for the use in flood relief operations.
The media said the Azerbaijani government and AzVIrt company sent humanitarian aid to help victims of the devastating floods.
The reports featured a statement by the Azerbaijani Embassy in Belgrade, which hailed “strategic partnership” between the two countries.
On Monday, the Azerbaijani President instructed the Ministry of Emergency Situations to send humanitarian aid to Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The aid included 12 motor boats of various sizes, 260 tents, 300 camp beds, 1,500 blankets, 40 power generators, 20 water pumps, etc.
Serbian first lady Dragica Nikolic praised humanitarian aid sent by Azerbaijan to her country.
