Shaki becomes cultural capital of Turkic world-2016

Baku, November 29, AZERTAC

Azerbaijan`s Shaki city was declared the cultural capital of the Turkic world in 2016, according to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

The decision was made at the 33rd meeting of the ministers of culture of the Permanent Council of TURKSOY held in Mary, Turkmenistan.

Azerbaijani delegation led by first deputy minister of culture and tourism Vagif Aliyev attended the event.
