SOCAR PRESIDENT MEETS INDIAN DELEGATION
President of Azerbaijan’s State Oil Company (SOCAR) Rovnag Abdullayev met with Indian Minister of State for Commerce, Jairam Ramesh, and Managing Director of ONGC Videsh Ltd (OVL), R.S. Butola.
Mr. Butola said SOCAR experts once played very important role in developing India’s oil industry.
He informed Rovnag Abdullayev about the OVL, which he said is India’s largest integrated oil and gas company.
R.S. Butola said ONGC Videsh Ltd wants to strengthen its cooperation with Azerbaijan’s State Oil Company.
He said he believes Azerbaijani oilmen could help OVL experts implement projects in various countries across the world.
Rovnag Abdullayev stressed SOCAR has achieved huge success in developing oil industry in the country.
He noted SOCAR is ready for cooperation with Indian oil and gas companies.
