SOCAR President meets Italian oil magnate
Baku, June 24 (AZERTAC). President of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) Rovnag Abdullayev has met Friday with Massimo Moratti, Italian oil tycoon, owner and President of Italian football team Football Club Internazionale Milano and Chief Executive Officer (C.E.O.) of Saras S.p.A..
The SOCAR president briefed Moratti on the rapid socio-economic development in Azerbaijan.
Abdullayev has also touched upon the cooperation between the SOCAR Trading and Saras companies, saying “there are new opportunities for expansion of this cooperation”.
Moratti said it is his first visit to Baku.
He gave a background of the Saras corporation, which he said was established by his father Angelo Moratti.
Moratti stressed he knows the SOCAR as a rapidly developing company at international level.
