Ministry of Economic Development pays a special attention to protection of state property on enterprises opened to privatization and their effective exploitation, and is taking necessary measures against negative phenomenon in this sphere. Meanwhile, according to the Ministry’ press-service, managements of some enterprises do not take care of the state property. Chair of the “Neftchala iodine-bromine” Public Corporation founded on the base of the Neftchala iodine- bromine plant of the State Company “Azerkimya” Avaz Farajev, for instance, has closed an illiquid contract on sale of the plant as scrap metal.

After being informed on the issue, the Department for Control and Privatization of Property has managed to dismiss Farajev and illegal documents have been submitted to the Prosecutor’s office.

Ministry of Economic Development warns that serious measures will be taken against those who assume irresponsible attitude to the state property protection and are engaged in its squandering.
