The TACIS’s indicative program of actions for 2004-2006 implies the assistance to the office of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, director of the Coordinating Bureau of the European Union’s technical assistance programs for Azerbaijan Askar Alakbarov told AzerTAj correspondent.

The budget of project works to assist the institutional development of the Ministry and will be finally approved in 2004 summer and realized not earlier than January 2005.

A. Alakbarov mentioned that Azerbaijan takes an active part in all the regional ecological projects. The project works within the frameworks of the “Caspian ecological program”.

According to CB director, the works to prepare the fishery development program of Azerbaijan are underway.
