TASS Alley appears in Moscow
Baku, November 30, AZERTAC
Staff members of the TASS news agency have planted an alley of lime and maple trees along the Vernadsky Avenue in the southwest of Moscow to commemorate the news agency’s 120th anniversary, the agency reported.
Dozens of TASS employees with their families, led by Director General Andrey Kondrashov, planted the alley of thirty trees in the Troparyovo-Nikulino district, near the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul.
The area in front of the TASS news agency’s main office in downtown Moscow has been named the TASS Garden Square, according to an order signed earlier by Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin. The TASS Garden Square will soon appear on Moscow maps.
