TATARSTAN GOVERNMENT WANTS TO ASSEMBLY “KAMAZ” TRUCKS IN AZERBAIJAN
The government of Tatarstan is going to resume negotiations with Azerbaijan to establish a joint company for assembling “Kamaz” trucks, permanent representative of Tatarstan in Azerbaijan Nail Zaripov said.
In accordance with the decisions of the first meeting of the bilateral intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation, management of the “Kamaz” truck manufacture, made an offer to the Azerbaijan Government to establish a joint company for assembling trucks.
The Cabinet of Ministers offered earlier in February to use “Azmotors Co. Ltd” LLC as the base for assembling Kamaz trucks. Kamaz seeks tariff and tax concessions to implement the project.
