THIS YEAR’S OIL PRODUCTION TO REACH HISTORIC HIGH, SOCAR

State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic said oil production is expected to exceed 30 million tones in 2006, and will be a record in Azerbaijan’s oil industry.

Experts say Azerbaijan will produce over 60 million tones of oil over the next five years.
