It is stated that cracks may occur in the fuel pump of Toyota Corolla cars produced between 2019-2023, as well as Toyota Highlander and Lexus RX cars produced between 2018-2022, due to internal malfunction. This may cause fuel leakage. Contact with external fire sources may cause the vehicle to catch fire.
Defective parts will be replaced free of charge. Toyota advised owners of vehicles affected by the recall campaign not to park their vehicles near fire sources and to limit travel.
