Undergraduate Program of UL/LSE launched at Azerbaijan State University of Economics

Trainings of the University of London / London School of Economics’ (LSE) Undergraduate Program have been launched at Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC).
UNEC Rector Adalat Muradov congratulated the youth on the start of the classes on the undergraduate program of the world’s most advanced institution of higher education of economic profile. He said studying on the basis of the curriculum of the University of London students will also be able to use the teaching resources of this institution and will join the Summer School of the University of London situated in the London. Rector added that, students will become more competitive cadres in the labor market by receiving the diploma of LSE along with UNEC.
The first lesson was conducted by Director of Academic Affairs of the University of London/ London School of Economics at UNEC Tyson Lemons. He spoke about the advantages of the teaching process at LSE. Lemons said that curriculum development, quality parameters of education quality and the management of the educational process will directly be implemented by the University of London.
Twelve major subjects in three years, including four disciplines each year will be taught in accordance with the current curriculum of LSE. Final exams on these disciplines will be held at the end of each academic year (May- June) and the results will be sent to LSE to be assessed. The successful graduates of the program will receive the Undergraduate Degree of London School of Economics and the diplomas will be awarded during the Graduation Day in London.
Six students completing the first year course, with GPA more than 80 and the English Language requirements (IELTS- 6.0, TOEFL- 87, PTE Academic-57) study at the University of London/ London School of Economics’ Undergraduate Program. Admission of the students to the Undergraduate Program is implemented by LSE.
