UZBEK PRESIDENT URGES SOC COUNTRIES TO FIGHT TERRORISM
Attending the opening ceremony of the new building of the Executive Committee of Regional Anti-terror Structure under the Shanghai Organization of Cooperation /SOC/, President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov stated that terrorism should be fought not in words but in deeds. According to him, SOC members should put their efforts together to fight terrorism, and the main goal of the regional anti-terror organization is to gather data for SOC countries. “Every state pursues its own policy in all spheres including fight against terrorist. However, close interaction is more important to yield positive results”, the Uzbek President said.
