Three-day вЂњCIS on Oil and Gas Summit 2004: Russia, the Caspian, Caucasus and Central AsiaвЂќ attended by the heads of Ministries and companies engaged in oil-gas industry was opened in London on March 30, AzerTAj correspondent reports referring to RIA Novosti. The main organizer of the summit is London-based company вЂњEnergy Exchange LtdвЂќ.

Minister of Fuel and Energy of Azerbaijan Majid Karimov will participate at the event in special guest capacity.

March 31 and April 1 plenary sittings of the summit will be focused on financing of oil-gas branch in CIS countries, innovation technologies, informatization and automatization of the work of oil-gas industry, opportunities and prospects of oil and gas export from Russia and other CIS countries, state policy regarding oil and gas business.
