VENEZUELAN CROWNED MISS INTERCONTINENTAL 2009 IN MINSK PAGEANT
Baku, October 5 (AZERTAC). Miss Venezuela Hannelly Zulami Quintero Ledesma has just won the title of Miss Intercontinental held in Minsk, Belarus. She also won the continental title: Miss Intercontinental America 2009.
She took over the crown from Cristina Camargo, Miss Intercontinental 2008 from Colombia.
The host delegate from Belarus was 1st Runner Up while Miss Philippines Jacqueline Schubert (Mutya ng Pilipinas Tourism International 2009) was unplaced.
This year’s edition of the beauty pageant, organized by the World Beauty Organization and Belarus’ ONT television channel, featured a record high of 56 contestants.
The show was attended by Alexander Lukashenko and a number of other top government officials.
