VLADIMIR PUTIN CONGRATULATES ITAR-TASS ON ITS 100TH JUBILEE
Russian President Vladimir Putin has congratulated the staff of the Russian news agency ITAR-TASS on its 100th jubilee, AzerTAj correspondent reports referring the press-service of the Kremlin. The telegram of the head of the state says: “You have a 100-year history behind you rich of vivid and remarkable events. Gifted persons, true professionals dedicated to their business and civil duty have always worked in your agency. A few generations of ITAR-TASS workers have accumulated a great and unique experience, rich archives, photo- and video materials that became the illustration of the country’s history. Today, ITAR-TASS is a leader of the world information area, reliable source of fast and diverse information on developments in Russia and abroad. The main point is that you never stop on what you have achieved trying to introduce new technologies, modern information services and participating in the vital international projects. I wish every success and all the best to ITAR-TASS staff. ”
It should be added that President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has recently also congratulated the ITAR-TASS and wished the agency every success in further activities.
