Winners of AZERTAC and Uzbekistan’s art contest announced

The children’s art contest “National Traditions and Holidays, co-organized by AZERTAC’s “Children’s Knowledge Portal” and Uzbekistan’s “Tong Yulduzi” has concluded.
The competition, held from January 17 to March 15, aimed to foster patriotism, strengthen friendship and brotherhood between Azerbaijani and Uzbek children, promote national traditions, as well as reveal talented children, developing their creative abilities.
A total of 87 participants from Azerbaijan joined the art contest, held among children aged 8-11, 12-15, with more than 100 drawings submitted. The application period was concluded on March 15 and following the selection stage submitted drawings were evaluated according to the relevant criteria and the winners were determined.
Azerbaijani representatives Kovsar Gurban, Ali Bannayev, and Abdurrahman Salimli secured the top three places respectively in the 8-11 age category, while Mikayil Habibullahli, Farah Akbarzada, and Turkan Abbaszada claimed the first, second, and third honors in the 12-15 age category.
Representing Uzbekistan in the 8-11 age category, Rushana Shirinova secured the first place, followed by Rushana Davletshina and Nafisakhon Mirzohidova in second and third place, respectively.
In the 12-15 age category, the top three places were claimed by Arsen Puzerenko, with Maryamkhon Yakubova and David Buriy claiming the second and third positions.
