13th Belarus international media forum kicks off in Minsk

The 13th Belarus international media forum “Partnership for the Future: Digital Agenda for Media Space” has kicked off in Minsk, Belarus, according to the BelTA news agency.

The media forum brings together about 300 representatives of nearly 30 CIS and non-CIS states, including Germany, France, Austria, Bulgaria, the United States, Israel and others. Vietnam, Mongolia, and Bangladesh are participating in the forum for the first time. Azerbaijan State News Agency (AZERTAC) is also among the participants of the forum.

The official opening of the international media forum will take place on September 12 and will be followed by panels.

The program will feature the issues related to digitalizing the space of the Eurasian Economic Union, building the digital economy and information society in Belarus, producing quality changes in the activities of modern media. Special attention will be given to digital formats of media work, introduction of new media management technologies, cross-border information challenges and threats caused by an active entry of numerous online publications into the public life.
