Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry: Competitions for the title of best grenade launcher personnel were held VIDEO

In accordance with the training plan for 2022, the Land Forces held competitions for the title of the best SPG-9 and AGS-17 (AGS-30) grenade launcher personnel, Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense told AZERTAC.
The theoretical knowledge of the servicemen was tested before the shooting. Then servicemen passed standards for physical training, tactical training, and engineering training.
During the six-stage competitions, the personnel demonstrated their skills in destroying various targets of an imaginary enemy from tripod-mounted anti-tank grenade launchers, as well as shooting from automatic tripod-mounted grenade launchers with semi-direct pointing.
The main objectives of the competitions are to check the level of training of military personnel and improve their practical skills, as well as awarding servicemen who distinguished themselves in combat training.
