25 injured as bus overturns in Tehran

Twenty-five people have been injured as a bus overturned on a highway south of Tehran after colliding with a Jersey barrier, according to IRNA.
The accident was reported at 19:44 local time (1614 GMT), with 31 people on board the overturned bus, IRNA quoted Jalal Maleki, spokesman of the Tehran fire department, as saying.
Rescue teams, including firefighters and emergency medical personnel, were immediately sent to the scene.
Prior to the rescue teams' arrival, all the people on the bus had managed to exit the vehicle, Maleki said, adding that those injured were in the care of emergency medical personnel.
