Fu Hua: Xinhua and AZERTAC should further deepen its cooperation in light of modern challenges VIDEO

An Azerbaijani delegation has met with President of Xinhua News Agency Fu Hua on the sidelines of the 5th World Media Summit held in Guangzhou, China.
During the meeting, the sides emphasized that Azerbaijan-China relations, based on the principles of mutual friendship and trust, had stood the test of time and built on a solid foundation. They noted that thanks to the efforts of President Ilham Aliyev and President Xi Jinping, the relations between the two countries had developed dynamically and comprehensively, and risen to a qualitatively new level.
Emphasizing the indispensable role of AZERTAC and Xinhua news agencies in developing friendship between the two countries, President Fu Hua noted that Xinhua attaches great importance to the further expansion of cooperation with AZERTAC. He hailed the long-term successful cooperation between Xinhua and AZERTAC in various areas, stressing the importance of deepening cooperation between the two news agencies, especially in the field of exchange of news in light of modern challenges. The President of Xinhua mentioned that the exchange of economic news between the media outlets of Azerbaijan and China contributed to the cooperation between the two countries in the spheres of trade and economy, adding that it also became a useful source of informaiton for the countries’ public and private sector.
Praising the active involvement of AZERTAC in the initiatives and projects of Xinhua, Fu Hua expressed his gratitude for the participation of the Azerbaijani delegation in the 5th World Media Summit in the city of Guangzhou.
Chairman of the Board of Azerbaijan State News Agency - AZERTAC Vugar Aliyev hailed the mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries in all areas, including in the field of media.
Noting that this year marks the 20th anniversary of partnership between AZERTAC and Xinhua, Vugar Aliyev said that exchange of news and experience, joint participation in various projects and the mutual support within international platforms are a manifestation of close cooperation between the two news agencies. He described the cooperation between AZERTAC and Xinhua in the field of media as exemplary, and stressed the importance of reciprocal visits and joint events in terms of further deepening of the interaction.
The Azerbaijani delegation includes Executive Director of the Azerbaijan Media Development Agency Ahmad Ismayilov and Head of the Section on Foreign Media Affairs of the Department for Work with NGOs and Communication of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan Orkhan Sattarov.
